The Board also produces water from an extensive wellfield in the dunes on the North Spit. In this component of the project, four new production wells will be drilled and connected to the Board's distribution system. These wells will add approximately one million gallons per day of additional supply.
 New Production Wells will yield approximately 200 gallons per minute each. An extensive monitoring well network will help protect this goundwater resource. |
